At over 7,200 yards from the back tees, it provides a stern test for even the best players. From the outset, if offers little respite, with the wind blowing off the sea for the first 3 holes. Holes 4 to 11 provide glorious coastal views. The 9th is the “signature” hole, with the renowned lighthouse as a backdrop to a disconcerting drive across the corner of the bay.
