Before you embark on your summer resort vacation, there are a few things to remember to grab. Check with your resort to see what amenities they offer and what kinds of additional items they have available for guest use before you leave. Make sure you know what kind of activities they have available and pack things that will ensure fun for you and your family.

If you are planning on spending time outdoors, don’t forget to pack some sunscreen. No one wants their vacation ruined by a nasty sunburn the first day, so take the necessary steps to prevent it. Make sure that you don’t forget your bathing suit. Most resorts have direct access to a lake and many have indoor and outdoor pools too, so forgetting your bathing suit might leave you out of a few really fun activities.

Check with your resort and see if they have any biking or walking trails. If they do have trails, make sure they have bikes available for rent or customer use. Rather than packing your family’s bikes up, it might be easier if you just rent bikes from your resort. Many resorts also have golf courses on their land or close by.
